MUST WATCH:  Derrick Rose and the Greatest High School Basketball Clip Ever.

Not only am I ready to say that this is the best sequence I’ve ever seen in a high school basketball game , but this is the best dunk I’ve ever seen in a high school basketball game.  Not the first.  The second.

After Rose faced that kid, the opposing team didn’t just quit the game, they closed the whole school.  Kids everywhere, roaming the streets of Chicago all alone, without education, all because Derrick Rose shut…it…down.

It’s pretty crazy how you can go through life depending on everything but God, trying to fill the void by giving sports, music, girls and electronics your time and at the end of the day you feel even more empty then when you began. Then you get to the point where ALL you have to depend on is GOD.

In this life you have to live YOUR own life. Your peers can do what they do, but you have to do you! You can’t live your life through others. You have to find your own standards and morals. You can’t live by anyone else’s. 

My homies, take it from ya boy JG. You CANNOT, I repeat CANNOT, fill that void you feel with earthly things. You MUST lean on God more than anything in your life. These earthly stuff wont do anything but make you feel good for a Lil amount of time and once that stuff is gone, you will literally find yourself, Face to Face with God. saying “What’s going on, and how did my life get this way” 

The LORD is nicknamed the ROCK for a reason. A rock is sturdy enough to lean on, these earthly matters aren’t sturdy at all and they will have you falling on the ground so quick you won’t know what to do.
